April 20, 2026 – Steelhouse – Omaha, NE
It was a gorgeous night in downtown Omaha on Monday, April 20, 2026, but the calm turned to chaos when Lorna Shore brought their 2026 North American Tour to Steelhouse Omaha.
The openers for the night were Signs of the Swarm and crowd favorite Paleface Swiss, which made for an absolutely stacked lineup.
Doors opened about a half hour late because of a merchandising mix-up, but credit to the Steelhouse staff and security. They moved everyone through the checkpoints fast and got things back on track without much disruption.
Signs of the Swarm kicked things off and immediately whipped everyone into a frenzy. Formed in Pittsburgh in 2014, the band has become one of deathcore’s heaviest hitters, known for their punishing sound and relentless live sets. Their album Amongst the Low & Empty helped push them even further into the spotlight, and they’ve earned a reputation as one of the genre’s most respected rising forces.
With Bobby Crow, David Simonich, Michael Cassese, and Carl Schulz firing on all cylinders, their set was pure violence in the best possible way. Breakdowns hit like a truck and the pit responded accordingly. Their latest single “Theriac” is a must for any deathcore playlist. Perfect way to kick off the show.

After a brief intermission, it was time for Paleface Swiss, and the crowd absolutely lost it.
Coming out of Zurich, Paleface Swiss have built a huge following by blending deathcore, hardcore, and pure chaos into something uniquely their own. They’ve been blowing up internationally the last few years, landing major festival slots and becoming one of the hottest names in heavy music. Their album Fear & Dagger put a lot of people on notice, and the newer material keeps proving they are no fluke.
Marc Zellweger, Yannick Lehmann, Tommy Lee, and Luigi Paraventi brought insane energy from the second they hit the stage. I wasn’t a huge fan of them taking shots at the venue, but I can’t deny the stage presence. These guys were relentless. The crowd was moshing, crowd surfing, and thrashing nonstop through their whole set. It felt like controlled mayhem. They currently have over 815 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify, and their latest EP The Wilted packs a serious punch. Great set from these guys.

Another quick intermission, and then it was time for Lorna Shore!
Seeing Lorna Shore live was a bucket list show for me, so this was a big one.
Formed in New Jersey, Lorna Shore have become one of the biggest names in modern extreme metal, especially since Will Ramos joined and launched them into another stratosphere. Songs like “To the Hellfire” turned into viral moments in the metal world, and the band has earned critical acclaim for pushing the genre forward while somehow getting heavier and more cinematic at the same time. Their records have landed on year-end best-of lists across metal media, and they’ve become one of the defining acts in deathcore right now.
Will Ramos on vocals, Adam De Micco on lead guitar, Austin Archey on drums, Andrew O’Connor on rhythm guitar, and Michael Yager on bass were unreal together.
Will’s vocals live are honestly hard to comprehend. The range, the power, the control, it’s crazy. His energy was nonstop, and the rest of the band was just as impressive. Austin Archey in particular was a machine behind the drums.
They currently have over 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and after spending time listening to their latest album I Feel the Everblack Festering Within Me before the show, I was primed for a crazy night. They absolutely delivered.
The production added so much to it too. Dark blue hazy lighting gave the whole room this ominous atmosphere, and at one point a bright sun burning across the video screens looked incredible behind the band. It elevated an already intense set.
If you ever get the chance to see Lorna Shore live, do it. They absolutely rocked Steelhouse and gave Omaha one hell of a Monday night. I’m hoping they make it back here soon!
