August 9, 2026 – Stir Cove – Council Bluffs, IA
Stir Cove has been on fire this summer with these shows, and Sunday night, August 9, 2026, was another great example. Stir Cove in Council Bluffs, Iowa was the place to be for an amazing night of country music featuring Kane Brown.
The night kicked off with Julia Cole, and she did a great job setting the tone.
Cole is a Texas-born country singer and songwriter who blends contemporary pop and rock production with rootsy country energy. Her music has been described as “Sisterhood Country,” and that makes a lot of sense when you hear her perform. There is a confidence and warmth to her sound that feels built around connection, empowerment, and bringing people together.
She has built a global fanbase she calls the #ColeTeam, and it is easy to understand why. She looked and sounded great, and her energy helped get the crowd ready for the rest of the night.
Julia Cole currently has over 1.3 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and her latest single with Breland, “Loving Someone Like That,” is definitely worth checking out. She was a great choice to open the show.
After a brief intermission, it was time for Kane Brown, and when he took the stage, the crowd went crazy.
There is something magnetic about Kane Brown. His smile, his swagger, and the way he carries himself onstage just draw you in. He has that rare ability to make a big outdoor venue feel personal, even when thousands of people are singing along with him.
Brown first built a massive following on social media before releasing his debut EP, Closer, in 2015. Later that year, he followed it up with “Used to Love You Sober,” which helped push his career to another level. After signing with RCA Nashville in 2016, he released Chapter 1 and then his self-titled debut album later that year.
From there, things really took off. His song “What Ifs” with Lauren Alaina became a major hit, and in 2017, Brown became the first artist to have simultaneous number ones on all five main Billboard country charts. His second album, Experiment, was released in 2018 and became his first number one album on the Billboard 200.
Over the years, Brown has built an impressive list of awards and nominations. He has won multiple American Music Awards, including Favorite Country Male Artist, Favorite Country Album, and Favorite Country Song. He has also won several CMT Music Awards, including wins for “What Ifs,” “Lose It,” “Worship You,” “Famous Friends,” and “Thank God.” He has been nominated for major honors from the Academy of Country Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, Country Music Association Awards, iHeartRadio Music Awards, People’s Choice Awards, and more. That kind of recognition says a lot about how strongly his music has connected with fans.
At Stir Cove, he showed exactly why people keep showing up for him.
He looked and sounded amazing. His voice was strong, his energy was high, and he seemed completely comfortable owning the stage. The crowd was with him from the beginning, singing along, cheering, and reacting to every big moment.
What stands out most about Kane Brown live is how effortless he makes it feel. He has the hits, of course, but he also has the stage presence to match them. He knows how to work a crowd without overdoing it, and there is an easy confidence to the way he performs.
This was my third time seeing Kane Brown live, and he gets better every time. He has grown into one of those artists who can command a stage and make it look natural. Whether he is delivering a big country anthem, slowing things down, or just smiling at the crowd, he knows how to keep everyone locked in.
Stir Cove did it again with another incredible concert, and we are only halfway through the summer. Julia Cole opened the night with a fun, energetic set, and Kane Brown gave fans exactly what they came for.
If you ever get the chance to see Kane Brown live, make sure you do. He puts on an incredible show.
