Alter Bridge: 2026 What Lies Within Us Tour

May 2, 2026 – Steelhouse – Omaha, NE

It was a beautiful night in downtown Omaha, Nebraska on Saturday, May 2, 2026, as the What Lies Within Us Tour rolled into town and packed Steelhouse Omaha from wall to wall. With a lineup featuring Tim Montana, Filter, and Alter Bridge, fans knew they were in for a great night of rock music, and the bands absolutely delivered.

Opening the night was Tim Montana, and he wasted no time getting the crowd fired up. Montana has built a strong following over the years blending southern rock, outlaw country, and hard rock influences into his music. He has collaborated with artists like Kid Rock and Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top, and his music has continued gaining traction on rock radio and streaming platforms. He currently has over 204 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify, and his latest single “Break Me Down” is definitely worth checking out. Montana brought incredible energy to the stage and sounded fantastic live. This was my second time seeing him perform, and honestly, he was even better this time around. His stage presence felt natural and effortless, and he was the perfect choice to kick off the evening.

Tim Montana Setlist:

  • Beautiful Hate
  • Get You Some
  • Break Me Down
  • Brown Sugar (ZZ Top Cover)
  • Watch Me Down
  • Kinda Like It
  • Devil You Know

Up next was Filter, and they brought a completely different atmosphere to the venue in the best possible way. Formed in the 1990s by vocalist Richard Patrick, Filter became one of the defining alternative rock bands of that era with massive hits like “Hey Man Nice Shot” and “Take A Picture.” Patrick himself has one of the most recognizable voices in rock music, balancing melodic vocals with absolutely vicious screams. The current lineup consists of Richard Patrick, Jonny Radtke, Bobby Miller, and Elias Mallin, and the chemistry between the group was obvious throughout the set. Filter has sold millions of records worldwide and earned multiple charting singles throughout their career, while still continuing to release new music as of 2025. The band currently has close to 2 million monthly listeners on Spotify, which is impressive longevity for a band that has been around for decades. Their lighting setup looked fantastic with deep blue and red lights filling the stage, creating a darker industrial atmosphere that fit their sound perfectly. Hearing “Take A Picture” live was a huge highlight of the night, and Patrick’s guttural screams still sound every bit as intense as they did years ago. Few vocalists can match that kind of raw power live.

Filter Setlist:

  • You Walk Away
  • The Drowning
  • (Can’t You) Trip Like I Do
  • Jurassitol
  • Take A Picture
  • No Love
  • All the Good
  • Welcome to the Fold
  • Hey Man Nice Shot

After a brief intermission, it was finally time for Alter Bridge to take the stage, and they absolutely owned the night from the moment they walked out. This was my second time seeing the band live, and somehow they sounded even better than the first time. These guys know exactly how to put on a show. The band consists of Myles Kennedy, Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall, and Scott Phillips, and together they continue to prove why they are considered one of the strongest modern rock bands around. Formed in 2004 following the breakup of Creed, Alter Bridge quickly carved out their own identity with heavier riffs, incredible musicianship, and emotional songwriting. Over the years, they’ve earned multiple chart-topping rock albums, worldwide tours, and a reputation for being one of the best live bands in rock music today.

Myles Kennedy sounded absolutely incredible all night long. His vocal range is unreal, and he somehow manages to sound just as polished live as he does on record. Mark Tremonti’s guitar work was flawless, and the chemistry between the entire band was incredible from start to finish. Alter Bridge currently has over 2.3 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and their latest self-titled release is definitely worth adding to your rock playlist. As a huge WWE fan, one of the biggest highlights of the night for me was finally hearing “Metalingus” live, famously known as Edge’s entrance theme song. The crowd absolutely erupted when those opening notes hit.

From start to finish, the What Lies Within Us Tour delivered an incredible night of music. Every band brought something different to the table, and all three absolutely crushed it. Amazing show.

Alter Bridge Setlist:

  • Silent Divide
  • Addicted to Pain
  • Cry of Achilles
  • Playing Aces
  • Fortress
  • Burn It Down
  • Open Your Eyes
  • Broken Wings
  • Watch Over You
  • Silver Tongue
  • Tested and Able
  • Rise Today
  • Metalingus
