Trace Adkins: What Color’s Your Wild Tour

July 11, 2025 – The Astro – La Vista, NE

Trace Adkins brought his unmistakable voice and Southern charm to The Astro in La Vista on Friday night, July 11, 2025, and it was nothing short of a great time. Although Nebraska summers are usually scorching, the weather turned out to be just right for an outdoor show. With no opening act, the country legend took the stage just after 7 p.m., and the crowd erupted with excitement.

Dressed in a simple black t-shirt, jeans, sunglasses, and his signature black cowboy hat, Adkins looked every bit the seasoned performer. He sounded fantastic too—his deep, resonant voice carried effortlessly through the amphitheater as he powered through a hit-filled set.

With more than two decades in the spotlight, Trace Adkins has racked up an impressive career. He’s sold over 11 million albums, earned multiple Grammy nominations, and won three Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards—including Top New Male Vocalist. He’s also a member of the Grand Ole Opry, a huge honor in the world of country music.

He treated fans to all his best-loved songs, including the emotional “You’re Gonna Miss This,” which was definitely a personal favorite. Every track struck a chord with the crowd, and his storytelling between songs added a personal, down-to-earth feel to the night.

Adkins currently has over 3.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and his latest EP, Made in the U.S.A., shows he’s still got it. If you’re a country fan and haven’t checked it out yet, it’s well worth a listen.

All in all, this was a fantastic show. Great music, a relaxed summer vibe, and one of country’s most iconic voices made for an amazing night!
