Sheryl Crow Rocks the Pinewood Bowl

September 7, 2021 – The Pinewood Bowl Amphitheater – Lincoln, NE

Sheryl Crow is one of the biggest names in music, so when I heard she was coming to Lincoln, Nebraska on Tuesday night September 7, 2021, I knew I had to be there.  Crow has sold over 50 million albums worldwide, has won 9 Grammy Awards, and a slew of other awards over her career.  She’s an accomplished actress, and even has an honorary doctorate from the University of Missouri!

The Pinewood Bowl Amphitheater was the perfect location for this concert, and the weather couldn’t have been better.  Joined on stage with her band and backup vocalists, Crow kicked off the concert with her 1996 hit, “Everyday Is A Winding Road.”  There was no opening band, so concertgoers didn’t have to wait long to see her in action.  Her 20-song set included some of her biggest smash hits, a few lesser-known newer tracks, and an awesome encore performance.  Highlights for me was hearing, “A Change Would Do You Good”, and “If It Makes You Happy”, two of my favorite Sheryl Crow songs.  Sheryl put on a great show, joked in between songs with the crowd, and seemed genuinely happy to be playing live again.  For being almost 60 years old, she looked and sounded absolutely amazing!
