WWE Slams its Way Into Des Moines

December 19, 2021 – Wells Fargo Arena – Council Bluffs, IA

If you’re a wrestling fan, there’s no better way to kick off the holidays than with a WWE Holiday Supershow!

On Sunday evening December 19, 2021, WWE and it’s superstars slammed their way into Des Moines, Iowa.  Thousands of fans packed the Wells Fargo Arena to watch superstars from Raw and Smackdown collide in seven epic matches.

This event was not televised, but with the match quality and the superstars that were in attendance, it easily could have been.  One of the things I enjoy most about non-televised events is that there’s a little bit more flexibility with time.  During televised shows, there’s a strict schedule that must be adhered to, or the whole show can run late.  House shows give the performers a little bit more time to interact with the fans and put on a little bit slower-paced matches that really get the fans involved.

Holiday Supershow Results:

  • Rick Boogs defeated Madcap Moss
  • Otis (accompanied by Chad Gable) defeated Dominik Mysterio
  • Queen Zelina & Carmella (Champions) defeated Toni Storm & Sasha Banks
  • Big E (Champion) defeated Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, and Bobby Lashley
  • R Truth defeated Austin Theory
  • Beck Lynch (Champion) defeated Liv Morgan and Bionca Belaire
  • Drew McIntyre, Rey Mysterio, & King Woods defeated Roman Reigns & The Usos
