WWE Lays the Smackdown in Omaha

January 14, 2022 – CHI Health Center – Omaha, NE

For the first time in over 3 years, WWE Smackdown Live! invaded the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
Thousands of fans braved the snowy weather and packed the arena for the live, televised spectacle, and WWE did not disappoint.
It was a fantastic show from start to finish, with a special return, and a few surprises throughout the night. Based on crowd reaction alone, Charlotte Flair, Seth Rollins, Kofi Kingston, and Roman Reigns, received the loudest pops of the night. Before Smackdown Live! was broadcast on the Fox television network, fans were treated to a dark match (non televised) featuring NXT standouts, Tommaso Ciampa and Pete Dunne, which saw Ciampa gain the victory. Both men put on a great showing, and this was the perfect way to start the night.

After the live broadcast ended, fans were treated to another dark match where Seth Rollins & the Viking Raiders defeated Roman Reigns & The Usos. After the match was over, the Viking Raiders took their time heading to the dressing room, so they could pose for pictures with fans and sign a few autographs. It was an awesome show!

Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns came face-to-face to discuss their upcoming match at the Royal Rumble
Seth Rollins & the Viking Raiders defeated Roman Reigns & the Usos (non-televised)
