April 12, 2025 – The Astro – La Vista, NE
The Astro in La Vista, Nebraska was the place to be on Saturday night, April 12, 2025, as ’80s rock legends Warrant brought their 2025 tour to town for an unforgettable night of rock and roll. The band is currently celebrating 35 years of Cherry Pie, and the energy was electric.
The night kicked off with high-energy sets from Stretch and the iconic BulletBoys. Stretch came out swinging, keeping the crowd hyped and tossing out tons of swag—kazoos, guitar picks, even t-shirts. BulletBoys took things to another level, showcasing incredible chemistry and off-the-charts stage presence. Frontman Marq Torien looked and sounded every bit the rock star, delivering a performance packed with classic swagger and serious vocal power.
Fantastic way to open the show!
In case you’re not familiar, Warrant is a rock band that broke out in the late 1980s, becoming a major force in the glam metal scene. Formed in Los Angeles in 1984, the band’s classic lineup included Jani Lane, Erik Turner, Joey Allen, Jerry Dixon, and Steven Sweet.
Their 1989 debut album, Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich, went double platinum and produced the Top 10 hit “Heaven.” They followed up with Cherry Pie in 1990, featuring the iconic title track that became a rock anthem. Cherry Pie also went double platinum and included other hits like “Uncle Tom’s Cabin” and “I Saw Red.”
Warrant has sold over 10 million albums worldwide and earned multiple platinum and gold certifications. Their songs consistently charted high on Billboard and helped define the glam metal era.
Despite lineup changes and the passing of Jani Lane in 2011, Warrant continues to tour with Robert Mason on vocals, keeping their music and legacy alive. They currently have over 1.8 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and they don’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.
These guys know how to put on a show! Robert Mason looked and sounded fantastic, effortlessly hitting the high notes and bringing a fresh, powerful vibe to the band’s classic hits. The crowd was electric as they rolled through favorites like “Heaven” and “Cherry Pie,” with Mason commanding the stage like a true frontman.
As a special surprise, Warrant brought the BulletBoys back onstage for the finale, creating a wild, fun party atmosphere that had everyone singing along. It was the perfect way to close out a night packed with nostalgia, great performances, and pure rock and roll energy.
If you have the chance to see any of these bands live, make sure you take it!
