Wallows: The 2025 Model & More Tour

February 6, 2025 – The Astro – La Vista, NE

The Astro in La Vista, Nebraska, was the place to be on Thursday night, February 6, 2025, as Wallows brought their 2025 Model & More Tour to the theater for an unforgettable night of music. These guys were absolutely fantastic, but before their set, fans were treated to an awesome set from Deb Never, an up-and-coming indie artist based out of LA.

Never has over 320,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, and her dreamy, genre-blending sound truly sets her apart. Her latest single, “This Alive,” is a must-listen!  She had great energy, and the crowd was feeling her vibe from the moment she stepped on stage.  Great way to kick things off!

The excitement in the crowd built, and after a brief intermission, it was time for Wallows! The anticipation peaked as their massive, name-branded curtain lifted and the lights dimmed to a cool blue glow, setting the stage for an unforgettable set.  When the curtain dropped and the band began to play, the crowd went crazy.  This band really knows how to put on a show!

In case you’re unfamiliar, Wallows is an indie rock band from Los Angeles, featuring Dylan Minnette, Braeden Lemasters, and Cole Preston. They’ve been jamming together since their early teens, but officially launched as Wallows in 2017 with their debut single, “Pleaser,” which quickly climbed to number two on Spotify’s Global Viral 50 chart.

Their first full-length album, Nothing Happens, dropped in 2019 and includes the standout track “Are You Bored Yet?” featuring Clairo. This song not only went viral, but also earned them a nomination for MTV’s Push Performance of the Year in 2021. Following up with their sophomore album, Tell Me That It’s Over, in 2022, and their third album, Model, in 2024, Wallows continues to grow their fanbase. Right now, the band has over 9.9 million monthly listeners on Spotify!

It was a younger crowd at The Astro, and these fans were pumped!  From the moment the guys stepped on stage, the energy in the room skyrocketed. Most of the girls in the crowd absolutely swooned over the band, screaming at every smirk, wave, and hair flip. It was clear these guys had everyone in a trance, but it wasn’t just about the looks—Wallows sounded incredible. Their set was perfectly crafted, making every song feel even more electric than on their albums. Tracks like “Scrawny” and “Your New Favorite Song” had the whole crowd singing along, while their deeper cuts showed off their versatility. The band was locked in, and the crowd was with them the whole time.

Between songs, they kept things fun and engaging, cracking jokes and soaking in the love from the audience. By the end of the night, it was clear—Wallows doesn’t just put on a show; they create an experience.

Be sure to check out their latest album, Model—a 12-track masterpiece packed with incredible songs!
