Treaty Oak Revival: The West Texas Degenerate Tour

Saturday night, July 11, 2026, Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska was the place to be as Treaty Oak Revival brought their West Texas Degenerate Tour to town. Thousands of fans packed the arena, and from the first note of the night to the final song, the energy never let up.

The night kicked off with Gannon Fremin & CCREV, and they were the perfect choice to start things off. The Oklahoma four-piece brought a loud, gritty mix of red dirt, rock, and post-grunge that immediately set the tone for the night.

The band is made up of Gannon Fremin on vocals and rhythm guitar, Tyler McCartney on drums, Wade Cartwright on bass, and Travis Julian on lead guitar. Most of the band has known each other since they were kids growing up in Walters, Oklahoma, and you can feel that connection when they play live. They are tight, confident, and have the kind of chemistry that only comes from years of playing together.

Their songs hit hard, blending breakup pain, toxic cycles, and rough-edged storytelling with big riffs and a lot of attitude. It is heavy music with red dirt roots, and the crowd was into it right away. They currently have over 1.9 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and their latest single, “Contagious,” is definitely worth adding to your playlist.

Gannon Fremin & CCREV brought amazing energy and did exactly what an opening band should do. They got the crowd fired up and made sure everyone knew the night was going to be a rowdy one.

Up next was William Clark Green, and that set was awesome.

Green is a country singer-songwriter from Flint, Texas, who has built a strong career through his songwriting, touring, and connection to the Texas country scene. He released his debut album, Dangerous Man, in 2008 while attending Texas Tech University, and over the years has released several studio albums and live projects.

His 2013 album, Rose Queen, became his breakthrough, producing multiple top ten singles on the Texas country charts, including “She Likes the Beatles.” His 2015 album, Ringling Road, also made a big impact, debuting on the Billboard 200 and reaching the Top Country Albums chart. Green later released Hebert Island, Baker Hotel, Live at Baker Hotel, and in 2026, his seventh studio album, Watterson Hall.

He has also made a major impact outside of his own music. In 2018, he launched Cotton Fest in Lubbock, Texas, which raises money for the High Cotton Relief Fund to support West Texas farm families in need. He also co-founded The Panhandlers with Josh Abbott, Cleto Cordero of Flatland Cavalry, and John Baumann.

Green sounded great and brought the kind of energy that made it clear why the crowd loved him. His songs have that Texas country feel that works especially well live, and his band gave the arena a strong, full sound. He currently has over 941 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify, and judging by the reaction in Lincoln, he had plenty of fans in the building.

After a brief intermission, it was time for Treaty Oak Revival, and when they hit the stage, the crowd went crazy.

Treaty Oak Revival formed in Odessa, Texas in 2018 and has quickly become one of the most exciting bands in the country rock and red dirt scene. The band consists of Sam Canty, Lance Vanley, Jeremiah Vanley, Cody Holloway, and Dakota Hernandez.

The band started as a cover band before releasing their debut single, “No Vacancy,” in 2020. Their debut album of the same name followed in 2021, and their second studio album, Have a Nice Day, arrived in 2023. That album included “Missed Call,” which became the band’s first gold record in 2024 and later went platinum.

Since then, Treaty Oak Revival has only kept climbing. They made their Grand Ole Opry debut in 2024, toured with Koe Wetzel, performed “Bad State of Mind” on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and released The Talco Tapes in 2025. Their album West Texas Degenerate took things to another level, reaching number 21 on the Billboard 200 and hitting number one on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums and Americana/Folk Albums charts.

Their sound is hard to put in one box, and that is part of what makes them so fun. They have country roots, red dirt storytelling, Southern rock attitude, punk energy, and enough heavy guitar to make the whole arena feel like it could come unglued at any second. Sam Canty has described them as a rock band with a country accent, and that feels like the perfect way to say it.

These guys know how to put on a show. From the moment they started, the crowd was dancing, singing, throwing beer, and losing their minds. It felt less like a traditional concert and more like a wild party that just happened to have a killer soundtrack.

Treaty Oak Revival had the arena in a frenzy right away, and they kept that momentum going throughout the entire set. Their music hits hard live. The guitars are loud, the drums are heavy, and the songs are built for crowds that want to scream every word back at the band.

This was my third time seeing Treaty Oak Revival live, and they get rowdier and better every time. There is something about their shows that feels unpredictable in the best way. You know it is going to be loud. You know it is going to be wild. You know you are probably going to leave tired. That is exactly what happened.

Treaty Oak Revival currently has over 8.9 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and they are not slowing down anytime soon. They have built something that feels real, and their fans are all in.

This concert was awesome from start to finish. Gannon Fremin & CCREV brought the heavy red dirt energy, William Clark Green delivered a fantastic set, and Treaty Oak Revival turned Pinnacle Bank Arena into one giant West Texas party.
