On Wednesday night November 8, 2023, The Struts brought their “Remember The Name Tour” to the Admiral in Omaha, Nebraska, and it was amazing!

Straight out of Detroit Rock City, the night kicked off with Mac Saturn.  Saturn’s been dubbed “the past, present, and future of rock n’ roll” by The Michigan Daily, and they have over 77.6 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify.

Their set was a true musical spectacle that transcended the boundaries of a specific genre and transported the audience to another dimension.  As a new listener of Saturn’s, I didn’t know what to expect, but I can confidently say that their set exceeded every one of my expectations.

As the lights dimmed, the audience erupted.  Mac Saturn’s presence alone radiated a magnetic energy, setting the stage for an unforgettable set. Their energy was off the charts!

Carson Macc’s vocals were nothing short of exceptional, hitting notes that seemed to defy the laws of physics.  One of the standout elements of the set was the musicianship of band. Their intricate arrangements and seamless transitions between songs showcased their exceptional talent and chemistry. The fusion of electronic and live instrumentation created a dynamic and immersive sound that held the audience spellbound.

The setlist was a journey through Mac Saturn’s discography, blending older hits with newer, unreleased tracks. Each song was a sonic adventure, filled with pulsating beats, lush melodies, and thought-provoking lyrics.

Saturn’s ability to create an atmosphere of wonder and awe is a testament to their unique talent and artistry. If you ever have the opportunity to attend a Mac Saturn concert, don’t miss it – it’s a journey you won’t want to end!

After a brief intermission, it was time for The Struts!

Their set kicked off with a bang as the lights dimmed and the stage came alive with a burst of sound, heralding the arrival of the band. Lead singer Luke Spiller’s charismatic presence was magnetic, as he strutted onto the stage, channeling a charismatic blend of Mick Jagger and Freddie Mercury. From the get-go, it was evident that this was going to be a night filled with theatrical rock and roll antics.

The Struts’ musicianship was on full display, with the tight-knit band delivering a high-octane performance. Guitarist Adam Slack’s riffs were blistering, while bassist Jed Elliott and drummer Gethin Davies provided the driving force behind the music. Luke Spiller’s vocal range was nothing short of astonishing; his theatrical, powerhouse voice was the linchpin of the evening’s performance.

The setlist was a delightful mix of The Struts’ greatest hits, including “Body Talks” and “Kiss This,” all delivered with an electrifying stage presence that had the crowd singing along with every word.
