Teddy Swims: I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy Tour

October 31, 2023 – The Admiral – Omaha, NE

On Tuesday night October 31, 2023, Teddy Swims brought his “I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy Tour” to The Admiral in Omaha, Nebraska, and it was an experience that left me in awe!

Swims, with his soulful voice and engaging stage presence, delivered an unforgettable night of musical magic that will be etched in my memory for years to come.

The night kicked off with Zinadelphia, a vocalist and guitarist based out of Philadelphia.

Dressed in a ladybug costume to celebrate Halloween, she had a strong set that included her debut single, “Mirrorball.”  She has over 234 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify, and is making an impact in the music scene due to her strong presence on social media.  Zinadelphia was a fantastic choice to open the show.

After a brief intermission, Teddy Swims and his band took the stage and the crowd went crazy.

Decked out in a bright orange jumpsuit and baseball hat, Teddy kicked off his set with “911” and Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing.”

Swims’ vocal prowess was nothing short of extraordinary. His soulful, raspy voice was filled with raw emotion, and he effortlessly transitioned between various genres, from R&B and soul to pop and rock. His diverse repertoire of covers and original songs kept the audience engaged from start to finish. What stood out most was the authenticity of his performance.  Swims sang from the heart, and it was evident that he had a genuine connection with his music and the audience.

The concert was a rollercoaster of emotions, with each song taking us on a unique journey.

In addition to his remarkable vocal talent, Swims’ stage presence was captivating. He interacted with the audience, sharing personal stories and insights that made the concert feel like an intimate gathering of friends. His charisma and infectious enthusiasm spread throughout The Admiral, creating a strong bond between him and his fans.

Singing along, swaying to the music, and even shedding a few tears during some of the more emotional songs, the audience was fully immersed in the concert, making it a shared experience that transcended the mere performance.

The stage lighting and backdrop visuals complemented the music beautifully, enhancing the overall visual experience without overshadowing the main attraction.

Teddy Swims’ concert was a magical evening of music that will forever hold a special place in my heart. I’m so thankful I got to hear “Lose Control” and “Some Things I’ll Never Know” live and in person!

If you ever have the opportunity to attend a Teddy Swims concert, I highly recommend it.  He is absolutely amazing!
