The Astro in La Vista, Nebraska, was the place to be on Saturday night, September 21, 2024, as STARSET brought their Immersion: The Final Chapter tour to town, delivering an unforgettable performance.

In case you’re not familiar, STARSET is a rock band formed in 2013 in Columbus, Ohio, known for their cinematic sound and immersive live performances. The group was founded by lead vocalist Dustin Bates, who is also the band’s primary songwriter and a former member of the band Downplay. Other members include guitarist and vocalist Ron DeChant, bassist and vocalist Brock Richards, and drummer Adam Gilbert.

Their debut album, Transmissions, was released in 2014, featuring the hit single “My Demons,” which quickly gained popularity and showcased their unique blend of rock and electronic elements. The band followed up with Vessels in 2017, which continued to solidify their sound and included fan favorites like “Monster” and “Satellite.”

STARSET is known for their engaging live shows, often incorporating elaborate visuals and storytelling elements. They’ve earned a dedicated fanbase and have received various nominations, including the Billboard Music Awards and iHeartRadio Music Awards. With their innovative approach to music and performance, STARSET has carved out a distinct niche in the rock genre, consistently pushing boundaries with their artistic vision. Currently, they have over 2.8 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and their latest singles, “TokSik” and “Degenerate,” are definitely worth checking out.

This concert was nothing short of a spectacular experience! From the moment the lights dimmed, you could feel the excitement in the air. After a short video, the band took the stage in their signature cool costumes, which added a futuristic vibe that perfectly matched their sound.

As soon as they launched into “Unbecoming,” the audience was hooked. The laser displays were absolutely mind-blowing, cutting through the smoke and creating stunning visual effects that complemented the music perfectly. It was like being transported into another world!
