March 31, 2025 – Steelhouse – Omaha, NE
Monday night turned into a full-blown party on March 31, 2025, as the talented rapper Pouya brought his 2025 They Could Never Make Me Tour show to Steelhouse in Omaha, Nebraska.
The venue was packed, and the crowd’s energy never let up, but before Pouya hit the stage, fans were hyped up by killer performances from Cursed, who kicked off the night, and Freddie Dredd, who kept the momentum going strong. Both openers crushed it, setting the perfect tone for Pouya’s headlining set.
In case you’re not familiar, Pouya, born Kevin Pouya in 1994, is a rapper from Miami, Florida, with Cuban and Persian roots. He dropped out of high school and worked odd jobs before turning to music, starting out by creating comedic YouTube content with close friend Fat Nick. The duo built a following through their online presence and underground music.
Pouya gained early attention with his 2013 track “Get Buck” and has since released several mixtapes and albums, including Underground Underdog, Five Five, The South Got Something to Say, and Blood Was Never Thick As Water. Known for his gritty, raw style, Pouya has collaborated with artists like $uicideboy$, Ghostemane, and Denzel Curry. His track “1000 Rounds” with Ghostemane earned Gold certification from the RIAA.
Currently, he has over 4.4 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and his latest single, “Who Am I,” is definitely worth adding to your rap playlist.
