Pitbull & Iggy Azalea Throw One Hell of a Party!

August 17, 2022 – Baxter Arena – Omaha, NE

It was poised to be another calm and peaceful Wednesday night in Omaha, but Grammy Award-winning superstar Pitbull, along with Iggy Azaela, had other plans!  They tore the roof off the Baxter Arena, and threw an unforgettable party!

The night’s entertainment kicked off with a few local dj’s, who played a slew of dance hits for the crowd.  DJ JPEG had the crowd on their feet and primed for the opening act.

Iggy Azalea, complete with an entourage of female backup dancers, hit the stage, and the crowd came alive.  She wore a skin-tight bodysuit, and looked amazing!  Azalea has won an American Music Award, an ARIA Award for Breakthrough Artist, and has almost 7 million monthly listeners on Spotify.  With her hit songs, “Fancy”, and “Problem”, Azalea became the second musical act to rank at number one and two simultaneously on the Hot 100 Billboard Charts.  She performed all her hits, including, “Fancy”, “Black Widow”, “Team”, and “Go Hard or Go Home.”  She was all smiles through her set, and twerked for the crowd numerous times.  It was a great way to start the show!

After a brief intermission, Pitbull, his band, and backup dancers took the stage, and the crowd erupted.  This guy had an infectious energy, and the crowd was on their feet dancing the entire time.  Pitbull has been nominated for numerous awards, and has won 9 Latin Billboard Music Awards, 7 Latin Music Italian Awards, 3 Billboard Music Awards, 2 BMI Awards, 2 iHeartRadio Music Awards, 2 Grammy Awards, and many others.  He’s got a whopping 30.3 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and his music has stood the test of time.  Decked out in all black with sunglasses, “Mr. Worldwide” performed all his hits including, “Hotel Room Service”, “Hey Baby”, “Give Me Everything”, “I Know You Want Me”, “Time of Our Lives”, and many others.  He looked and sounded great, and made sure to express his gratitude to the crowd for showing up, and showing their support throughout the years.  A large video backdrop, huge metal dual staircases, lights, and smoke added to the spectacle.  From start to finish, Pitbull gave his fans every penny’s worth. Being able to see him perform live was a bucket list item for me, and I wasn’t disappointed.  He was fantastic, and I can’t wait to see him again!
