December 22, 2019 – The Orpheum Theater – Omaha, NE

On Sunday night December 22nd, Mannheim Steamroller brought their amazing Christmas concert to the Orpheum Theater in Omaha, Nebraska.  The chilly weather didn’t keep concertgoers away, as the venue was nearly filled to capacity.

Mannheim Steamroller was founded by Chip Davis, and is hugely successful around the world, selling over 28 million albums in just the United States.  They are best known for their “Fresh Aire” albums, which blend new age music with classical and rock music.  Their Christmas albums have also been hugely successful.

The concert kicked off with Chip Davis welcoming the crowd to the concert and expressing his sincere thanks for their continued support throughout the years.  Davis said, “If you keep buying tickets, we’ll keep coming back to Omaha”!

After a few songs, and an introduction of the orchestra and all the band members, the concert continued with Christmas songs that the audience enjoyed.  The lights, the music, and the video screen really captured the feeling of the holidays, and it was easy to see why Mannheim Steamroller continues to sell albums all over the world.  The orchestra sounded amazing, and the musicians, some from Omaha, are so talented.  If you get the chance, Mannheim Steamroller is definitely worth seeing in person!
