August 29, 2025 – CHI Health Center Arena – Omaha, NE
Friday night, August 29, 2025, the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska was the site of an unforgettable concert from Linkin Park. Stopping in town on their From Zero World Tour, the band gave fans every bit of their money’s worth. Jean Dawson opened the show, and while I didn’t catch his set, I heard it was fantastic and the perfect way to kick off the night.
After a dramatic countdown on the massive video screens, it was time for Linkin Park. The current lineup features Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Joe Hahn, Dave Farrell, Emily Armstrong, and Colin Brittain. The moment they walked out, the arena erupted.
Linkin Park’s history is nothing short of legendary. Formed in the late 1990s, they became one of the most successful rock bands of all time, selling over 100 million records worldwide. Their debut album Hybrid Theory remains one of the best-selling albums of the 21st century, and they’ve collected two Grammy Awards, multiple American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and MTV VMAs along the way. Known for their ability to blend rock, rap, and electronic elements, Linkin Park has influenced an entire generation of artists and fans.
Of course, it’s impossible not to think about Chester Bennington during their shows. His absence is deeply felt, but the band has found a way to honor his legacy while continuing to move forward. Emily Armstrong brings a new energy to the stage—different, yes, but not in a bad way. It’s a fresh dynamic that gives long-time fans something familiar while also keeping things alive and evolving.
Their set was cleverly broken up into different acts, each with its own flow and theme, which kept the show exciting and unpredictable. The band poured everything they had into the performance, and the crowd gave it right back. For me, the highlights were “Burn It Down,” which absolutely lit up the arena, and “In the End” during the encore—a powerful, emotional moment that had every single fan singing at the top of their lungs. Photographing them live was a bucket-list experience I’ll never forget.
Musically, the band was as tight as ever, and the production elevated everything. Cool lighting, cryo bursts, stunning video graphics, and, of course, the music itself made the night unforgettable. They played for over two hours without letting up, keeping the energy high until the very last note.
Linkin Park currently has over 51.7 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and their 2024 release From Zero proves that they’re still pushing boundaries and delivering powerful new music.
Absolutely amazing show from start to finish. If you ever get the chance to see them live, don’t miss it.
