Lindsey Stirling & Kiesza Dazzle Fans in Omaha

On Tuesday night July 6, 2021, Lindsey Stirling brought her Artemis Tour to Omaha, Nebraska. This would make my third time seeing Stirling in concert, and she definitely delivered.

Fans packed the Baxter Arena to witness Stirling, who has over 12 million subscribers and over 3 billion total views on youtube, perform her songs from the past and present.

Lindsey’s opening act, Kiesza, a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter from Calgary, was the perfect choice to kick off the show. In addition to her unique vocals and striking appearance, what makes Kiesza more remarkable is she’s back performing after a long recovery from a car accident in 2017 that nearly ended her singing and dancing career. Kiesza is a multi-talented Juno Award, Youtube Award, and Canadian Music Award winner, and captivates crowds with her Electronic Dance songs. Her curly bright orange hair and purple velvet jacket looked amazing under the bright arena lights. She was joined on stage with her female dj, who also had great energy.

After a brief intermission, Lindsey Stirling took the stage, and the crowd erupted. Her fans are definitely loyal, and some of them even travel from city to city to watch her perform. Lindsey kicked off her set with the song, “Artemis”, and followed with an unforgettable show filled with songs from her past albums. Her 17-song set captivated the audience with laser lights, video “stories” on a huge video wall, lights, smoke, and of course, her astounding violin playing and dancing talents. She spoke to the crowd numerous times throughout the show and it was obvious she was excited to be touring again. Her little Chihuahua Luna Latte even made an appearance! Lindsey’s shows have a certain electricity in the air. I think her style of music, backup dancers, and intricate costumes might have something to do with that, but whatever it is, fans get their money’s worth!
