September 27, 2025 – CHI Health Center Arena – Omaha, NE
Saturday night, September 27, 2025, the CHI Health Center Arena in Omaha was the place to be, because Keith Urban brought his High and Alive Tour to town — and he didn’t come alone. The show featured three fantastic openers, Karley Scott Collins, Alana Springsteen, and Chase Matthew, who each set the stage perfectly for the main event.
The night kicked off with Karley Scott Collins. Originally from Lake City, Florida, Karley actually started her career as a child actor before shifting her focus to music. She picked up the guitar early on, developed her songwriting chops, and has since been named to CMT’s Next Women of Country class. She made her Grand Ole Opry debut not long ago and has been steadily gaining momentum with releases like her Write One EP, which even features a collaboration with Keith Urban himself. Her set in Omaha showed exactly why she’s turning heads in the country scene — she had grit, confidence, and a powerful voice that immediately drew the crowd in. It was the perfect way to get people primed for what was to come.
Up next was Alana Springsteen, and she looked as stunning as she sounded. A Virginia native, she picked up the guitar at just 7 years old and eventually landed a publishing deal in Nashville as a teenager. Her full-length album Twenty Something has been praised as a bold introduction, and she’s already been recognized as one of the genre’s most promising young stars. She’s also notched some impressive streaming success with songs like “goodbye looks good on you.” This was actually my second time seeing her live, and she was just as awesome as before. She had a natural connection with the audience, joked and laughed between songs, and delivered her material with polish and heart. Her crowd interaction made the big arena feel surprisingly intimate, and her set was one of those that leaves you wanting more.
Then came Chase Matthew, and this guy knows how to put on a show. The Nashville-based singer-songwriter has been steadily on the rise with hits like “Love You Again” and “Darlin’,” and is signed with Warner Music Nashville. His backstory includes Keith Urban personally requesting him for the tour, which tells you a lot about the belief in his talent. This show marked only his second time playing in Nebraska — the first was at Barnato, a small club where he performed to about 250 people. Seeing him now in front of thousands was surreal, but he carried the stage like he belonged there. His energy was infectious, and his humble gratitude came across in every word. He laughed and jammed with his band, made sure to thank the crowd multiple times, and seemed genuinely blown away by the turnout. You could tell he was having the time of his life, and the audience fed right into it.
After a short intermission, the lights dimmed and it was time for Keith Urban. Dressed head to toe in black, he stepped onto the stage with his signature smile, guitar in hand, ready to remind everyone why he’s one of country music’s biggest stars. Born in New Zealand and raised in Australia, Urban has become a Nashville icon with a career spanning decades. He’s won four Grammy Awards, countless CMA and ACM trophies, and in 2025 he earned the ACM Triple Crown Award — a rare honor that recognizes artists who have won New Artist, Artist, and Entertainer of the Year during their careers. He currently sits just shy of 7 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and based on this show, he’s not slowing down anytime soon.
From the very first song, Urban was electric. His guitar playing was nothing short of phenomenal — he absolutely shredded solos that had fans cheering loudly, but also knew when to ease back and let a melody breathe. His voice was strong and steady, carrying across the arena with ease. The best part was his stage presence: he looked like he was having just as much fun as everyone in the crowd. He smiled constantly, bantered between songs, and made the massive arena feel like a jam session among friends.
The setlist was packed with fan favorites alongside newer material, and the mix kept the energy flowing all night long. There were no gimmicks, no pyro, no unnecessary spectacle — just a world-class musician and his band giving everything they had. By the time the final notes rang out, the crowd was on their feet, cheering and clapping for more, fully satisfied with a night of unforgettable music.
It was a fantastic night of country music. From Karley Scott Collins setting the stage, to Alana Springsteen charming the room, to Chase Matthew pumping up the energy, and finally to Keith Urban delivering a headlining set that proved why he’s at the top of his game, every performer brought something special. Fans definitely got their money’s worth — and then some! Awesome show!
