Hollywood Undead & Tech N9ne

April 23, 2025 – The Astro – La Vista, NE

The Astro in La Vista, Nebraska was the place to be on April 23, 2025, as Hollywood Undead and Tech N9ne brought their Hollywood & N9ne Returns Tour to town for a night packed with high-octane performances and unforgettable music.

Kicking things off was Zero 9:36, and he wasted no time setting the tone for the evening. Fronted by Matthew Cullen and backed by his guitarist and drummer, Zero 9:36 delivered a powerful set that proved why his fanbase continues to grow. Since releasing his first mixtape under the name Zero in 2016, he’s racked up over 970,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. If you haven’t heard his latest singles “Chasing Shadows” and “Save Me,” now’s the time.

Next up was Set It Off, and they cranked the energy to a whole other level. From the moment they hit the stage, the crowd was hooked. With Cody Carson on vocals, Zach DeWall on guitar and bass, and Maxx Danziger on drums, the band delivered a dynamic, no-holds-barred performance that had fans singing and jumping along. Boasting over 2.9 million monthly listeners on Spotify, Set It Off continues to prove they’re a force to be reckoned with. Their set was amazing!

After a short intermission, the lights dimmed and it was time for Tech N9ne!

In case you’re not familiar, Tech N9ne, born Aaron Dontez Yates in Kansas City, Missouri, is a legendary independent rapper known for his lightning-fast flow, complex rhymes, and theatrical live shows. He co-founded Strange Music in 1999, building one of the most successful indie hip-hop labels in the world. With hits like “Caribou Lou” and “Hood Go Crazy,” Tech has released over 20 albums and earned a massive cult following. He’s sold millions of records, had several projects chart on the Billboard 200 (including multiple top 10 debuts), and was honored with the Independent Icon Award at the 2019 Hollywood Music in Media Awards. Despite little mainstream radio play, Tech N9ne’s relentless work ethic and unique style have made him a true pioneer in independent rap.

His set was absolutely awesome! The second the lights dropped and those blue and red beams started cutting through the haze, the energy in the room skyrocketed. The lighting setup was seriously cool and set the perfect vibe for his intense, rapid-fire style. When Tech hit the stage wearing a gold crown with ruby accents, the crowd went nuts—and rightfully so. He looked like royalty and performed like it too. His flow was flawless, his stage presence was electric, and every song hit hard. The crowd was all-in from start to finish, shouting lyrics, throwing up hand signs, and feeding off his energy. It was clear everyone there was having the time of their lives.

Make sure to check out his latest singles, “Racing,” “J6’s,” and “RDV!”

As if the night wasn’t already incredible, things went into overdrive when co-headliner Hollywood Undead hit the stage, sending the crowd at The Astro into an absolute frenzy.

The Hollywood Undead lineup—J-Dog, Funny Man, Johnny 3 Tears, Charlie Scene, and Danny—knows exactly how to light up a stage. Their performance was packed with energy, backed by an awesome setup featuring glowing palm trees and cool lighting effects. They threw in a couple of killer covers and even brought a young fan on stage to help with one of the songs, which had the crowd going absolutely wild. With over 4.1 million monthly listeners on Spotify and more than two decades of experience under their belts, the band shows no signs of slowing down. Their energy was unreal—what a phenomenal show!
