March 21, 2026 – CHI Health Center – Omaha, NE
It was a perfect Saturday night (minus the downtown construction issues) on March 21, 2026 at the CHI Health Center Arena in downtown Omaha, and it turned into a really fun night of country music. HARDY brought his The Country! Country! Tour to town with McCoy Moore and Cameron Whitcomb opening things up, and the whole night just had a great vibe from the start.
McCoy Moore kicked things off, and he was really solid. He’s sitting at over 160 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify right now and definitely feels like someone on the rise. His latest single “Sunshine State” is an easy add to any country playlist. He’s been getting more attention lately, landing on some solid playlists and opening for bigger artists, and you can tell he’s putting in the work. He had good energy, sounded great live, and did exactly what you want an opener to do. Got the crowd warmed up and ready to go.
Then Cameron Whitcomb came out and immediately flipped the energy in the building. Literally. He started his set with a backflip and didn’t slow down from there. The guy has over 5.4 million monthly listeners on Spotify and it makes sense once you see him live. A lot of people probably know him from American Idol, but he’s really built something since then. Tons of energy, super engaging with the crowd, and just felt real the whole time. One of the more memorable moments was when he talked about being over two years sober. You could feel the crowd lock in with him during that. His latest song “Kingdom of Fear” is really catchy and hits even harder live. I’d be shocked if he’s not headlining his own tour soon. He was amazing.
After a quick break, it was time for HARDY and you could feel the anticipation in the arena. He’s one of those artists where even if you don’t realize it, you’ve probably heard songs he’s written. He’s had a ton of success as a songwriter for guys like Morgan Wallen and Blake Shelton, and he’s picked up some big awards along the way, including ACM Songwriter of the Year. On top of that, he’s built his own lane with that country meets rock sound that just works.
He opened with “Bottomland” in a more laid-back way, with some really cool lighting and fire effects setting the tone. It didn’t take long before things ramped up. Once it did, it was full energy the rest of the night. HARDY knows how to put on a show. The crowd was on their feet for most of it, singing along nonstop. He’s sitting at over 8.2 million monthly listeners on Spotify right now and it feels like he’s still gaining momentum. This was my fourth time seeing him, and honestly, he just keeps getting better. Everything feels tighter and more polished every time.
Overall, just a really great show. McCoy Moore got things started the right way, Cameron Whitcomb brought a ton of energy and heart, and HARDY closed it out with a set that had the whole place going. Nights like that are why live music never gets old.
