Hairball: The XXV Anniversary Tour

April 26, 2025 – Liberty First Federal Credit Union Arena – Ralston, NE

The Liberty First Credit Union Arena in Ralston, Nebraska was the place to be for an unforgettable night of rock ‘n’ roll as Hairball rolled into town with their 25th Anniversary Tour. Thousands of fans packed the venue for what turned out to be an absolutely electrifying show. This was my sixth time covering Hairball, and somehow, they just keep getting better.

The night kicked off with a killer set from Rival 5, an 80s cover band out of Minneapolis. They brought great energy and set the perfect tone for what was about to unfold.

After a short intermission, the lights dimmed and Hairball hit the stage!

These guys absolutely crushed it! Their set was a full-on rock ‘n’ roll spectacle from start to finish. They ripped through classics from legends like KISS, Van Halen, Aerosmith, Quiet Riot, Journey, Bon Jovi, Twisted Sister, Rush, Ozzy Osbourne, Queen, AC/DC, and Guns N’ Roses—it was like reliving the best of the ‘70s and ‘80s all in one night.

The production was next level, with pyrotechnics, fog, a big video screen, and insane lighting that made the whole place feel electric and provided a lot of great photo ops!

One of the most powerful moments of the night was when they brought U.S. veterans onstage and played the National Anthem—a tradition they honor at every show.

Fans showed up dressed to rock and sang along to every word.

Hairball isn’t just a band—they’re a full-blown experience. Absolutely amazing show!
