April 29, 2024 – CHI Health Center – Omaha, NE
Attending a Greta Van Fleet concert is like stepping back in time to the heyday of classic rock!
Lincoln, Nebraska was the place to be on April 29, 2024 because the group brought their Starcatcher World Tour to the jammed packed Pinnacle Bank Arena for a night of unforgettable entertainment.
Greta Van Fleet hails from Frankenmuth, Michigan, and consists of four talented members: Josh Kiszka on vocals, Jake Kiszka on guitar, Sam Kiszka on bass/keyboards, and Danny Wagner on drums.
What’s remarkable about this group is their ability to channel the spirit of ’70s rock icons like Led Zeppelin while putting their own modern twist on it.
Their set kicked off with high energy as they launched into “The Falling Sky,” a breakout hit from their latest album, “Starcatcher.”
It’s no wonder they’ve been dubbed by some as “the second coming of Led Zeppelin” for their similar blues-infused rock sound.
Jake’s guitar skills are equally impressive, delivering soulful riffs and blistering solos that evoke the spirit of Jimmy Page. The band’s rhythm section, anchored by Sam’s groovy bass lines and Danny’s dynamic drumming, provides a solid foundation that drives their music forward.
One thing that stood out during the concert was their stage presence. Despite their young age, the members of Greta Van Fleet exude confidence and charisma on stage, interacting with the crowd and feeding off the audience’s energy.
Throughout the set, they played a mix of their original songs from albums like “Anthem of the Peaceful Army” and “The Battle at Garden’s Gate.” Tracks like “When The Curtain Falls” and “Age of Machine” demonstrated their musical maturity and songwriting prowess beyond their years.
What I appreciated most about the concert was the authenticity of their performance. Greta Van Fleet isn’t just mimicking classic rock; they’re embodying its essence and infusing it with their own creativity. From the amazing costumes to the lighting and pyrotechnics, this band is the total package!
By the time they ended their encore performance, the entire venue was rocking out. The crowd was on their feet, and you could feel the passion and excitement in the air.
If you’re a fan of classic rock or just appreciate raw, energetic music, catching a Greta Van Fleet concert is a must. They’re a refreshing reminder of the timeless appeal of rock ‘n’ roll, delivered with a youthful fervor that’s impossible to resist. Absolutely amazing!
