August 5, 2025 – Steelhouse – Omaha, NE

Tuesday night, August 5, 2025, Steelhouse Omaha was the spot to be. Glass Animals rolled into town with their Tour of the Earth Tour, and thousands of fans packed the venue for a night that was anything but ordinary.

The evening kicked off with a fantastic opening set from Orla Gartland. If you’re not familiar with her yet, you should be. Orla is an Irish singer-songwriter who’s built a reputation for sharp, heartfelt lyrics and infectious indie-pop melodies. She’s racked up plenty of praise over the years, with her debut album Woman on the Internet hitting the UK Top 10, and she’s since become a favorite on both the festival circuit and streaming platforms. With over 652,000 monthly Spotify listeners, it’s clear she’s carved out a devoted fanbase. Dressed in a laid-back blue button-down and bright yellow tennis shoes, Orla’s energy matched her colorful style. Her set was playful, emotional, and full of charm, leaving the crowd buzzing. Don’t sleep on her latest album, Everybody Needs A Hero. It’s a must-hear!

After a brief intermission, it was time for the main event: Glass Animals. The British alt-pop giants—Dave Bayley, Drew MacFarlane, Edmund Irwin-Singer, and Joe Seaward—turned Steelhouse into another world. Their stage setup looked straight out of a sci-fi movie, with a spaceship-like design, pulsing laser lights, rolling smoke, and a massive video wall tying it all together. The atmosphere was electric.

Midway through their performance of “The Other Side of Paradise,” things got unexpectedly wild when the fire alarms inside Steelhouse went off, forcing the show to pause. Instead of killing the vibe, the interruption only cranked the energy higher. Once the all-clear was given, Glass Animals returned to the stage like nothing could stop them—playing harder, louder, and with even more passion. Dave even ventured into the crowd at one point, sending fans into a frenzy.

With 23.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify, Glass Animals are no strangers to success, and their latest single, “Vampire Bat,” is another reminder of why they’re one of the most exciting indie rock bands around. Their Omaha stop was an unforgettable mix of spectacle, chaos, and pure joy.

If Glass Animals are landing their spaceship near you, don’t miss it!
