Gavin Adcock: Actin’ Up Again (Again) Tour

February 28, 2025 – Steelhouse – Omaha, NE

It was a cold night in Omaha on February 28, 2025, but Gavin Adcock brought the heat to Steelhouse with his 2025 Actin’ Up Again (Again) Tour. The show was absolutely wild, but the talent on stage was just as impressive as the energy in the crowd.

The show opened with Fox N’ Vead, and they were awesome! Straight out of Concord, NC, Fox N’ Vead is the brainchild of singers Christian Vead and Logan Fox. They mix Outlaw Country and Alternative Rock into a sound that’s both rowdy and full of heart. With Ashton Redd bringing the thunder on drums and Landon Almond locking down the groove on bass, this band knows how to bring the energy.

They absolutely tore it up on stage! From the second they walked out, their energy was through the roof, and the crowd fed off every bit of it. Vead and Fox were electric, trading vocals and keeping the momentum high, while Redd’s pounding drums and Almond’s tight bass lines kept everything locked in. They had the crowd singing, stomping, and completely losing it by the end of their set. Whether it was their rowdy outlaw-country-meets-rock anthems or the raw emotion behind their lyrics, they knew exactly how to whip the place into a frenzy. If you get the chance to see them live, don’t miss it!

The band currently has over 75 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify, and their latest single, “High Agenda” is definitely worth adding to your country playlist!  Fantastic way to open the show!

After a brief intermission, it was time for Gavin Adcock!

In case you’re not familiar, Gavin Adcock, hails from Watkinsville, Georgia, and is a rising star in the country music scene. He initially pursued a football career at Georgia Southern University, but a knee injury in 2021 shifted his focus entirely to music. Since then, Gavin has released multiple singles, collectively amassing over 600 million streams. His debut major-label album, Actin’ Up Again, dropped in August 2024 and became the most-streamed country debut album of the year, with over 350 million streams to date. The hit single “A Cigarette” from this album has garnered over 125 million streams and earned Gold certification. Gavin’s high-energy performances have led to sold-out shows and major festival appearances, solidifying his place as one of country music’s most exciting new talents.

This guy knows how to put on a show.  His set was absolute chaos in the best way possible.

From the second he hit the stage, the crowd was wild—we’re talking beer flying, people screaming, and an energy that never let up. At one point, fans were literally chucking cups of beer and even cans at him, and instead of getting mad, he loved it. He straight-up encouraged it, grinning as he powered through his set.

It wasn’t just about the party—his music was killer. He had the crowd jumping with his rowdy, honky-tonk bangers, then completely shut them up with his slow country ballads that showed off just how damn good his voice is. The dude can sing. And, of course, he kept the drinks flowing, downing beer and Jack Daniels between songs like a true outlaw.

Earlier that day, he posted a video stepping off his tour bus into the freezing Omaha air, wearing nothing but his cowboy boots, hat, and boxers—only for the wind to rip his hat off. It was a pretty funny clip.

If you ever get the chance to see Gavin live, go—just bring a raincoat for all the flying beer!

Amazing show!
