Flo Rida Brings the Party to the Nebraska State Fair

September 3, 2022 – Nebraska State Fair – Grand Island, NE

The 2022 Nebraska State Fair ran for 11 days, had almost 300,000 guests, and provided some of the best food, music, and entertainment in the midwest. Saturday night September 3rd had one of the largest crowds at the fair, partly due to the night’s entertainment. Because of a last-minute cancellation, rapper Flo Rida was booked as the headliner for the evening, which made for a unique night of entertainment.

Raleigh, North Carolina native, Priscilla Block, kicked off the night with an amazing set. Block is a country music singer that’s best known for her 2020 viral Tik Tok song, “Just About Over You.” Since going viral on Tik Tok, she secured a record deal with Mercury Nashville, and has released a successful album titled, “Welcome to the Block Party.” She wore a pair of black cut-off jean shorts, black platform boots, a brightly colored blue and white top, and a pair of sunglasses that would make Elton John jealous! She looked and sounded amazing, and had the crowd waving their hands in the air and singing along. Block has over 2 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and is currently on tour entertaining fans around the United States.

After a lengthy delay due to travel issues, Flo Rida took the stage, and the crowd went absolutely crazy. This guy’s energy is off the charts, and he came to party! Flo’s breakout hit, “Low” was released in 2007, and since then, his career has skyrocketed. He has released 4 studio albums, and has over 22 million monthly listeners on Spotify. Throughout his music career, he’s been nominated for numerous awards, and has won a Teen Choice Award, an ARIA Music Award, an APRA Award, a People’s Choice Award, and an International Dance Music Award. He wore a sleeveless black leather vest, Bob Marley t-shirt, black cut-off jean shorts, and was joined on stage with backup dancers and a DJ. Flo performed all of his hits, and towards the end of his amazing set, he handed out roses and invited dozens of girls on stage for a massive dance party. I’ve always been a big fan of his music, but after seeing him live, I like him even more. He had great stage presence and an infectious energy that had the crowd singing and dancing the entire time. Flo Rida was amazing!
