January 31, 2026 – Liberty First Federal Credit Union Arena – Ralson, NE

It was a bitter cold night in Ralston, Nebraska on January 31, 2026, but things were heating up inside Liberty First Federal Credit Union Arena as Dynasty Combat Sports presented New Years Knockouts 2026.

This was actually my first time ever photographing a combat sports event, and honestly, I was blown away from start to finish. The energy in the building was electric all night long. Every fighter who stepped into the cage left it all out there, and it made for an incredible experience both as a photographer and as a fan watching the action unfold just a few feet away.

Dynasty put on a top-notch production too. From the DJ and ring announcer to the walkout music, lighting, and overall presentation, everything felt big-time. You could tell a lot of work goes into making these events feel special for both fighters and fans. If I get the chance to shoot another Dynasty Combat Sports show, I’m doing it in a heartbeat. It was an absolute blast. If you ever get the chance to attend one, don’t pass it up.

The night was packed with exciting finishes and competitive matchups. Several bouts ended quickly with submissions and explosive knockouts, while others went the distance in hard-fought decisions. Fans saw triangle chokes, rear naked chokes, guillotines, and an Americana submission all secure wins early in the night. There were also multiple first-round knockouts that had the crowd jumping out of their seats.

The youth wrestling matches showcased some serious young talent, with competitive bouts that kept the crowd engaged.

In the main event, hometown favorite Houston Alexander capped off the night with a strong performance, earning a decision win over Brandon Johnson and sending the crowd home happy.

From submissions to knockouts to championship moments, New Years Knockouts 2026 delivered nonstop action. For my first combat sports shoot, I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to the sport.

Already looking forward to the next one!
