December 4, 2025 – Liberty First Federal Credit Union Arena – Omaha, NE
The Liberty First Federal Credit Union Arena in Omaha, Nebraska was the place to be for an amazing night of country music on Thursday, December 4, 2025, as Dustin Lynch and Scotty McCreery brought their Two For The Road Tour to town. Thousands packed the venue, and from start to finish, they definitely got their money’s worth.
The show kicked off with Sons of Habit, and they were a perfect way to start the night. The band got its name from the trailer they used to write and rehearse on a piece of land in Habit, Kentucky. Lead singer Mitchell Douglas and writing partner Hagan Edge teamed up with Dalton Daniels, Jeffrey Parish, and Noah Patrick to form the group. Even though they’ve only been together for a short time, they all grew up in Owensboro, Kentucky and you can feel that chemistry when they’re on stage. Since releasing their first single “Madeline” in 2024, they’ve already racked up millions of streams and toured nationwide, opening for Ole 60 and Shane Smith & the Saints. They’re sitting at close to 620,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, and their latest EP The Sticks (The Bonfire Sessions) is definitely worth checking out. Awesome way to kick off the show!
Up next was Scotty McCreery and his band. Scotty first burst onto the scene in 2011 when he won American Idol, and he hasn’t slowed down since. He’s scored multiple No. 1 hits, earned ACM Awards including New Artist of the Year, and became a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 2018 — a huge milestone in any country career. Scotty is a natural performer and sounded absolutely amazing. This was my second time seeing him live, and honestly, he was even better this time around. His energy was high, and I really loved the large video screen behind him that showed personal clips and photos throughout the set. It tied everything together and gave the performance a really personal touch. McCreery currently has over 3.6 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and at age 32, he’s clearly not slowing down anytime soon. He sang all of his hits and even threw in a couple of Christmas songs for good measure. Fantastic set!
After a brief intermission, it was time for Dustin Lynch. The crowd went nuts as the lights dimmed, silhouettes of his guitar players appeared in front of the massive video screen, and Dustin stepped out wearing his big black cowboy hat. He looked great and sounded even better. Lynch has built a massive career with multiple No. 1 singles, billions of streams, and a reputation for blending modern country with a pop edge. Like Scotty, he’s also a proud member of the Grand Ole Opry and has earned several ACM and CMT Award nominations along the way. This was my second time seeing Dustin as well, and I think this performance was even better than the last one. He had great charisma, was all smiles, and clearly loved being up there. He currently has over 3.7 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and his latest single with MC4D, “Home To You,” is definitely worth adding to your country playlist.
Three amazing sets made for one unforgettable night of country music. If you ever get the chance to see any of these artists live, do it!
