January 29, 2024 – CHI Health Center – Omaha, NE

On Monday night January 29, 2024, Grammy Award-nominated rock band Disturbed brought their “Take Back Your Life” tour to the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

The night kicked off with an electrifying performance from the all girl-group, Plush, consisting of Moriah Formica, Bella Perron, Ashley Suppa, and Faith Powell.  These girls know how to rock!

From the moment the lights dimmed, it was evident that Plush was there to create an unforgettable experience. The band’s lead vocalist, Moriah Formica effortlessly navigated the range of emotions in each song, delivering a soulful and powerful performance that left the audience captivated.

The precision of their musicianship was on full display, with each member contributing to a tight and cohesive sound that resonated throughout the arena. The group performed a cover version of “Barracuda” that was awesome, and these girls had the crowd on their feet!

Plush has over 88 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify, and their latest EP, “Find the Beautiful,” is definitely worth checking out!

Falling In Reverse took the stage next, and the CHI Health Center came alive.  Frontman Ronnie Radke commanded the audience’s attention with his dynamic stage presence and raw, impassioned vocals. With every scream, every riff, and every beat, the band unleashed a sonic assault that resonated deep within the souls of their fans.

The setlist was a rollercoaster ride of hits spanning their illustrious career, from the emotionally charged “Losing My Mind” to the anthemic “Popular Monster.” Each song was delivered with a fervor and intensity that bordered on the sublime, leaving the audience in a state of euphoria.

Of course, no Falling In Reverse concert would be complete without a healthy dose of theatrics, and the band did not disappoint in that regard. From dazzling light displays to jaw-dropping stage antics, every moment was a feast for the senses that kept the audience on the edge of their seats.

As the final notes of “Watch the World Burn” echoed through the CHI Health Center and the lights faded to black, it was clear that Falling In Reverse had delivered a performance for the ages. What a perfect way to set the tone for the headliner!

After a brief intermission and stage reset, it was time for Disturbed!

From the moment the iconic silhouette of lead vocalist David Draiman appeared on stage, it was evident that the rest of the night would be an unforgettable journey into the heart of metal.

When the massive curtain dropped, Disturbed opened the show with a sonic assault that reverberated through the arena, setting the tone for a night of unrelenting intensity. The mastery of their instruments, coupled with Draiman’s signature growls and melodic vocals, created a perfect storm of sound that had the crowd on their feet from start to finish.  These guys have almost 12 million monthly listeners on Spotify, they’ve been entertaining fans around the world since 1994, and they don’t appear to be slowing down any time soon!

The setlist was a meticulously curated blend of classic hits and newer tracks, showcasing the band’s evolution over the years. Songs like “Stupify” and “The Sound of Silence” were met with thunderous applause and fervent sing-alongs, creating an electric atmosphere that encapsulated the essence of Disturbed’s diverse musical catalog.

The visual spectacle accompanying the music was nothing short of mesmerizing. The stage was adorned with a stunning light show and fire displays that pulsated in rhythm with the music, enhancing the overall impact of each song.

Draiman’s stage presence was commanding, as he engaged with the audience, creating a connection that went beyond the music. His impassioned speeches and interactions added a personal touch to the performance, making it clear that this was more than just a concert; it was a shared experience between the band and their devoted fans.

As the final chords of “Inside the Fire” echoed through the arena, it was clear that Disturbed had once again proven why they are stalwarts of the metal genre. The concert was a sonic journey that left the crowd exhilarated and reminded everyone in attendance why metal, in the hands of true masters, has the power to unite and elevate the spirit!  This was my first time seeing them live, and I’m definitely hoping it won’t be the last!
