Dave Matthews Band Rocks Omaha

November 12, 2022 – CHI Health Center – Omaha, NE

Dave Matthews Band has been producing music and entertaining fans since 1991, and they’re still going strong!  On Saturday night, November 12, the band rolled through Omaha, NE, and made a stop at the CHI Health Center.

Thousands of fans packed the venue to witness the Grammy Award-winning group play some of their classic hits, and a few of their more unfamiliar tracks.

Seeing them live in concert was a real treat for me, because the last time I saw them was in 1998 in Kansas City.  Even though it’s been more than 20 years since seeing them live, Dave Matthews Band hasn’t missed a beat!  These guys are fantastic, and give new meaning to the term, “jam band”. 

Flanked by laser lights and huge video screens, lead singer, Dave Matthews, was joined onstage with Carter Beauford, Stefan Lessard, Tim Reynolds, Rashawn Ross, and Jeff Coffin.  For me, two standout solo performances during the show was a fantastic drum solo from Beauford, and an amazing guitar solo from Reynolds.  Dave Matthews was on point vocally, and looked excited to be there, even dancing around the stage during certain songs.

The band has over two million monthly listeners on Spotify, has sold over 31 million albums in the United States, has won a Grammy Award for the Best Rock Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group, and has won numerous VH1 Music Awards. Their latest release, “Come Tomorrow”, was released in 2019, but the band plans to release a new album in 2023.

If you have the chance to see Dave Matthews Band in concert, do it!
