For over 30 seasons, Dancing with the Stars, has been one of America’s favorite reality dance competitions. Premiering in June of 2005, the show has been nominated for Emmy Awards and numerous other production-related awards for hair, makeup, lighting design, and technical direction. The show’s had special tributes, spinoffs, cardio dance DVDs, games, and a lot more, and they’re not slowing down anytime soon. Celebrities that have competed on the show include Lindsey Stirling, Mel B, Mario Lopez, Chris Jericho, The Miz, Donny Osmond, Stacy Keibler, Wendy Williams, Macy Gray, Joey Fatone, and a host of others.
To say I was excited to be covering this show would be an understatement. Before the performances got underway, fans got to listen to dance music from Britney Spears, and other artists that have been featured on the television show.
From start to finish, this show had it all. Time-honored dances like the Cha Cha, Foxtrot, Tango, and everything in between! Dancing with the Stars Champions, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Iman Shumpert joined Jimmie Allen and Amanda Kloots for a truly unforgettable night of entertainment. The show also featured Brandon Armstrong, Alan Bersten, Artem Chigvintsev, Sasha Farber, Daniella Karagach, Pasha Pashkov, Gleb Savchenko, Emma Slater, Britt Stewart, Sofia Ghavami, and Koko Iwasaki, and they were absolutely amazing!
The music, the set, the lighting, and the sound was awesome, but the dancing was impeccable!
My favorite performance included the stars paying tribute to Janet Jackson with a fast-paced, energetic performance, set to some of Jackson’s hit songs.
This is truly a live show that you can’t miss!
