February 20, 2026 – The Waiting Room – Omaha, NE
It was a freezing night in Omaha, Nebraska, but Bryce Vine made sure nobody inside The Waiting Room felt it. His Let’s Do Something Stupid Tour stopped through town to a completely sold out crowd, and you could feel the excitement building before the first note was even played. Bryce mentioned during the show that he purposely booked smaller venues for this run so he could keep things more intimate and actually connect with fans, and honestly, it worked.
The night started with brake, and he was such a cool way to open the show. Based out of Las Vegas and raised in Texas, he has this unique mix of bluesy country warmth with touches of Motown and classic rock. At the same time, he looks like an emo guy who time traveled from the 1970s. Great style, cool hair, and just an easy confidence on stage. Brake, whose real name is Blake Bidigare, calls himself a “silly guy,” and that personality definitely shows when he performs. His songs feel personal and relatable without ever being boxed into one specific genre. He currently has over 44.4 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify, and his latest single “Like The First Time” is definitely worth adding to your playlist. “cigarettes & black lipstick” sounded so good live, and the crowd was really into him. You could tell he gained some new fans that night.
Next up was Out In Front, and they brought a whole new level of energy. Their story is actually pretty wild. Madie Renner grew up in Iowa and studied music at Belmont University before moving to LA after graduation with nothing but her guitar and a dream. To help pay the bills, she took a job coaching tennis at a local country club. That is where she met Isaiah Volk, a former Division 1 tennis player and pilot who was really a drummer at heart. A few garage jam sessions later with bassist Ryen Wagner, and Out In Front was officially a band.
They blend driving guitars, big drums, emotional vocals, and hooks that stick with you. There is a gritty but anthemic feel to their sound with some SoCal vibes mixed in. With over 150.6 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify, they are clearly building something special. They have already played festivals like the Palm Tree Music Festival and released their debut EP Straight Up To Space last year. At The Waiting Room, they absolutely delivered. They had the crowd moving, clapping, and fully locked in by the end of their set. They did exactly what a great opener should do and got everyone fired up for the main event.
When Bryce Vine finally walked out, the place exploded. The energy instantly shifted into another gear. Bryce first started gaining attention back in 2011 when he auditioned for The Glee Project, and since then he has built a solid career with EPs like Lazy Fair and Night Circus before releasing his debut album Carnival in 2019. That album featured “Drew Barrymore” and “La La Land,” his first songs to hit the Billboard Hot 100. Now he has over 3.1 million followers on Spotify, and you can tell he has really grown into his own as a performer.
Seeing him in a smaller venue like The Waiting Room just hits different. It felt less like a big production and more like a giant party with friends. He moved around the stage effortlessly, switching between rapping and singing without missing a beat. The crowd sang along loudly all night, especially during some of his bigger hits. Songs from his latest release Let’s Do Something Stupid! sounded great live, and it was cool knowing that artists like Out In Front are even featured on the project.
This was my fourth time seeing Bryce Vine live, and somehow he keeps getting better. He looks more comfortable, more confident, and more connected with the crowd every time. On a brutally cold Omaha night, he turned The Waiting Room into the hottest place in the city. If you ever get the chance to see him live, just go. You will not regret it. He really does put on a phenomenal show.
