Arson City: The 2025 Citizen’s Ball

October 18, 2025 – The Waiting Room – Omaha, NE

The Waiting Room in Omaha, Nebraska was the place to be on Saturday night, October 18, 2025, as Arson City held their 13th annual Citizen’s Ball. Hundreds of fans packed the venue for a night of incredible rock music, energy, and community that only Arson City and their loyal fans—known as “Citizens”—can deliver.

The night kicked off with Dream Aura, a local favorite made up of lead singer Shane Vogel and lead guitarist/instrumentalist Adam Arispe. What began as a small collaboration has evolved into something truly special, and their set proved why. Their sound brought a refreshing twist to Omaha’s rock scene, with a standout moment coming during their cover of “Teenagers” by My Chemical Romance, which had the crowd fired up and singing along.

Next up was Etched In Embers, hard-hitting rockers hailing from the Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. The band—Russ Rhodenizer on guitar and vocals, Tyler Kenyon on lead guitar and vocals, Chance Rhodenizer on bass and vocals, and Josh Newlon on drums and vocals—delivered an explosive set full of passion and precision. With soaring vocals, heavy guitar riffs, and pounding drums, they proved why they’ve earned recognition alongside major acts like Sevendust, Drowning Pool, and Badflower. Their energy was contagious, and they left the audience ready for more.

Following them was CLoud9 Vibes, a high-energy reggae rock band based out of Jacksonville. Their unique blend of reggae, metal, and pop brought a fresh, unexpected groove to the lineup. While a bit different from the other bands’ sounds, their upbeat rhythms and charismatic stage presence fit perfectly into the night’s flow, and the crowd loved every second of it.

Then it was time for the main event—Arson City. Formed in 2013 in Omaha, this hard-hitting rock band has built a reputation for their explosive performances and deep connection with their fans. Led by Patrick Wilson on vocals, with Mark Beckenhauer on rhythm guitar, Matt Denker on drums, Matt Dibaise on lead guitar, and Matt Oliver on bass, Arson City brought down the house. Their set was filled with massive guitar riffs, thunderous drums, and gritty, melodic vocals that had the entire room on their feet. With over 15,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and years of touring alongside acts like Pop Evil, In This Moment, and Papa Roach, Arson City continues to prove they’re one of the Midwest’s finest rock powerhouses.

It was a fantastic night of music, energy, and unity. The Citizen’s Ball once again showed that Arson City isn’t just a band—it’s a community, and they continue to make Omaha proud year after year.
