A Day To Remember: The Maximum Fun Tour

October 31, 2025 – Pinnacle Bank Arena – Lincoln, NE

Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska was absolutely buzzing on Halloween night, and for good reason—A Day To Remember rolled into Lincoln with their Maximum Fun Tour, bringing along Yellowcard and The Wonder Years for what turned out to be one of the most entertaining rock lineups of the year.

The Wonder Years kicked things off, and honestly, they couldn’t have set the tone any better. Dan “Soupy” Campbell and crew—Casey Cavaliere, Matt Brasch, Josh Martin, Nick Steinborn, and Mike Kennedy—hit the stage with incredible energy and sounded tight from the first note. The Wonder Years have built a huge following over the years, earning praise across the rock and pop-punk scene, and their over 557,000 monthly listeners on Spotify prove their staying power. Their latest release, No Closer To Heaven (10th Anniversary Edition), is absolutely worth adding to your rock playlist. As openers, they were the perfect warm-up for the chaos to come.

Next up was Yellowcard, and this was one I’d been looking forward to for a long time. Ryan Key, Sean Mackin, Ryan Mendez, and Josh Portman brought the nostalgia, the fun, and the fire—literally. Their Halloween spirit was off the charts. A giant Stay Puft Marshmallow Man waddled out during the Ghostbusters theme, the band launched T-shirts into the crowd, and most of them were dressed in Ghostbusters gear. It was goofy, it was fun, and the crowd loved every second of it.

Yellowcard didn’t just lean on the Halloween vibes—they sounded fantastic. The stage setup was impressive, with pyro bursts, laser lights, and a massive video screen that tied everything together. With over 4.6 million monthly listeners on Spotify, the band continues to stay hugely relevant, and their latest album Better Days—featuring collaborations with Avril Lavigne and members of Alkaline Trio—is solid front to back. Yellowcard has been on my bucket list of bands to cover live, and they absolutely did not disappoint.

After a quick intermission, the lights dropped, the crowd roared, and it was time for A Day To Remember. These guys don’t just put on a concert—they put on a spectacle.

Formed in 2003 in Ocala, Florida, ADTR (Jeremy McKinnon, Neil Westfall, Alex Shelnutt, and Kevin Skaff) came out swinging with their signature blend of metalcore and pop-punk. Their catalog spans everything from And Their Name Was Treason to Common Courtesy to Bad Vibrations, and now their latest release, Big Ole Album Vol. 1 (2025). Along the way, the band has earned a massive fanbase, high-charting albums, and multiple award nominations, and they currently sit at over 4.8 million monthly Spotify listeners.

Their setlist was packed—hits, deep cuts for longtime fans, and everything in between. McKinnon sounded fantastic, the guitars were punchy and crisp, and Shelnutt’s drumming drove the whole room. The production was next level: pyro blasts, confetti cannons, and a huge video wall that kept the crowd locked in visually as well as sonically.

This was my third time seeing A Day To Remember, and somehow they just keep topping themselves. The energy, the transitions, the crowd engagement—it all felt bigger, louder, and more polished than ever. They absolutely gave Pinnacle Bank Arena their money’s worth.

If you ever get the chance to see A Day To Remember live, don’t hesitate. Go. And while you’re at it, make sure to add their newest album, Big Ole Album Vol. 1, to your playlist. It’s the perfect mix of everything that makes ADTR so fun and unforgettable.

Halloween night in Lincoln couldn’t have been better. Three killer bands, tons of energy, and one memorable rock show from start to finish.
