Thursday night, May 21, 2026, was such a fun night in downtown Omaha as Qveen Herby brought her Isle of Qveen Tour to The Admiral. I’m not sure of the exact number of people there, but it was standing room only and packed to the rafters. The energy in the room was high before the show even started.
The night kicked off with Thot Squad, and they were a perfect choice to open the show. Thot Squad, also known as Blvck Bunnie, is an American rapper and songwriter from Flint, Michigan, who began releasing music in 2022. They quickly built a following with energetic, bold, and sexually charged tracks that feel made for a live crowd.
Their songs “Pound Cake” and “Hoes Depressed” helped bring them viral attention, and both were featured in the episodic video game Dispatch. They were also nominated for Supporting Performance in a Comedy at the 2026 NAVGTR Awards for their work in the game. In 2024, they became the first non-binary artist to perform at the Black Queer Advancement Festival, and in 2026, Nylon named them one of “The New Faces of Party Rap.”
Live, Thot Squad was an absolute blast. Their set was fun, wild, and full of personality. They had the audience cracking up between songs with quick banter and commentary, and the crowd fed off that energy. It felt less like a traditional opening set and more like the start of a party.
Thot Squad currently has over 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and their songs are definitely worth adding to your party playlist.
Great way to open the show!

After a brief intermission, it was time for Qveen Herby, and when she hit the stage, the audience went crazy.
She opened the set behind a screen, with her silhouette visible as she struck different poses. Then she disappeared offstage and returned inside a giant cruise ship on wheels. It was theatrical, creative, and the perfect way to introduce the whole island-themed world of the show. This girl knows how to put on a show.
Qveen Herby, whose real name is Amy Renee Heidemann Noonan, was born and raised in Seward, Nebraska. She first gained fame as part of the pop duo Karmin with her husband, Nick Noonan. The duo built a massive online following through YouTube covers before signing with Epic Records and releasing songs like “Brokenhearted,” “Hello,” and “Acapella.”
In 2017, Karmin’s social media was rebranded with the phrase “Karmin Is Dead, Long Live the Qveen,” officially launching the Qveen Herby era. Since then, she has created a solo lane all her own, blending rap, R&B, pop, confidence, fashion, beauty, and self-growth into one very specific world. Her debut solo EP, EP 1, arrived in 2017, followed by a long run of EPs, her debut album A Woman in 2021, and projects like Halloqveen, MAD QVEEN, THE MUSE, and The Alchemist.
Seeing her live really shows how much thought she puts into the full experience. This was my second time seeing her perform. The first time was at Hangout Festival in Alabama in 2024, and she has only gotten better and more popular since then.
She sounded amazing, looked incredible, and kept the show moving with different outfit changes throughout the set. Every part of the performance felt intentional, from the staging to the visuals to the way she carried herself onstage. She has that rare mix of confidence and weirdness that makes a live show feel unpredictable in the best way.
The crowd was completely locked in all night, singing along, dancing, and cheering every time she came back out in a new look. There was a strong sense of community in the room too. It felt like everyone there understood the assignment and came ready to celebrate the Qveen.
Qveen Herby currently has over 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and her latest single, “Overnight” with Richard Carter, is really catchy. She continues to grow her world with every release, and it is easy to see why her fanbase keeps getting bigger.
This was such a fun show from start to finish. Thot Squad brought the party early, and Qveen Herby turned The Admiral into her own little island for the night.
I can’t wait to see her in concert again!
