February 4, 2026 – Orpheum Theater – Omaha, NE

It was a chilly night in Omaha on February 4, 2026, but Cirque Kalabanté wasted no time heating things up inside the Orpheum Theater with an absolutely incredible performance of Afrique en Cirque.

From the moment the show started, the energy on stage was nonstop. Inspired by daily life in Guinea, the performance blended culture, music, and jaw-dropping acrobatics into something that felt both powerful and joyful. The live music alone was worth the price of admission. The Afro-jazz rhythms, drumming, and traditional instruments filled the theater and kept the crowd fully locked in.

Visually, the show was stunning. The colorful costumes popped under the stage lights, and every performer brought personality and excitement to their routines. What really blew me away was the athleticism. These performers make things look effortless that absolutely are not. The human pyramids, aerial stunts, and gravity-defying acrobatics had the crowd gasping and cheering throughout the show.

The contortionists were unreal. Watching bodies bend and move in ways that don’t seem physically possible left the audience stunned more than once. Every act seemed to raise the bar higher than the one before it.

What makes Cirque Kalabanté stand out is that it’s not just about spectacle. There’s heart and culture behind everything on stage, celebrating African artistry, strength, and joy in a way that feels authentic and uplifting.

By the end of the night, the entire theater was on its feet, and rightfully so. Fantastic music, incredible performers, beautiful costumes, and nonstop energy made this one of the most entertaining cirque shows to come through Omaha in a long time.If Cirque Kalabanté comes through your city, do yourself a favor and go.

Absolutely fantastic show!
